Nigerian artist and entrepreneur Mr Eazi made a significant visit to the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) headquarters in Kigali today. The renowned musician, who is also the Chair of Choplife Gaming Ltd, met with RDB CEO Jean-Guy K. Afrika to discuss potential partnerships and explore Rwanda’s expanding digital and gaming industries.
During the meeting, Mr Eazi expressed his excitement about Rwanda’s evolving tech ecosystem and the opportunity to further invest in the country’s gaming sector. He emphasized the importance of fostering responsible, inclusive, and tech-driven gaming experiences across Africa, an initiative that Choplife Gaming is passionate about.

This visit follows Mr Eazi’s 2021 announcement to invest in Rwanda’s creative, gaming, and e-payments sectors, demonstrating his commitment to supporting Rwanda’s digital transformation. The discussions with the RDB reflect the artist’s ongoing focus on contributing to the country’s economic development through strategic partnerships and investments in the creative and tech industries.
The meeting also highlighted the potential for further collaboration in expanding Rwanda’s online gaming sector, which has been gaining momentum as part of the country’s broader digital economy strategy.
